Andy was a fine man and became a good friend down the years. He was so much a part of many, much enjoyed, local activities - the cinema group, the 'Bridge & Tunnel Club' (for which he organised the rota and without whose proddings we might well have fallen apart). Andy's friendly spirit lifted morale in both these groups: it was always a pleasure to know that Andy with his warm chuckle would be there. - Bob Chesshyre
